Monday 23rd March 1812 - Wind as yesterday - Kept the people sawing ice & by the middle of the day completed a channel to the end of the Mary’s launch ways - about 6 o’clock in the afternoon launch’d the schooner Mary without the least accident- sawing of ice not yet began by either of the other Houses in the Hbr. Morred the Mary alongside the wharf.
