Thursday 4th Feb 1841 – Wind N.E. moderate & somewhat mild compared to the past two days – Schooner Anna, after undergoing a thorough repair the winter was this morning launched in good, & safe style about ˝ past six o’clock say seven o’clock for the launch – at meridian wind S.W. overcast with snow – Afternoon wind south still snowing fast – Thermometer at freezing point. Evening wind from N.E. & the cold on the increase.
