Wednesday 17th August 1836 – Light air of wind fm the south bordering on calm – murky atmosphere – dockmen employed boat building shoremen discharging fish from the Anna boat Hawk, cosmopolite with oil from Catalina Afternoon wind from S.E. dull & foggy and damp evening wind E.S.E. to east still dull damp & foggy Joseph Morris in his skiff from St. John’s.
